The Crossover podcast with Jayson Granger

Baskonia's Uruguayan point guard joins Joe Arlauckas

In the fifth episode of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague's new podcast, The Crossover with Joe Arlauckas, a man of two continents, Jayson Granger of KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, tells about his journey to the elite.

The Uruguayan-born point guard speaks about growing up as the son of a basketball legend in his home country, his initial struggles when he moved to Spain to pursue his EuroLeague dreams, and recovering from the bitter disappointment of just missing out on the Final Four in 2017.

Granger also discusses the close-knit nature of the Baskonia basketball family, the chemistry within the team, his quirky sneaker fixation, and how computer games got him into trouble with a former coach. He also reveals his romantic side!

With an hour-long format of exclusive one-on-one interviews, The Crossover with Joe Arlauckas goes well beyond the playing court with each podcast to delve into the life experiences that have made his guests who they are today – protagonists of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The Crossover has already featured David Blatt of Olympiacos Piraeus, Fabien Causeur of Real Madrid and Nick Calathes of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, among others. The next edition will put Kyle Hines of CSKA Moscow in the chair next to Joe Arlauckas.

The Crossover with Joe Arlauckas is available on ItunesAudioboomSpotifyDeezerRadioPublicGoogle Podcasts and other platforms.
