Already down in the series and facing an opponent that did not lose a home playoffs game in 11 years, Vincent Poirier stepped up in a major way and led KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz to a 68-78 road win over CSKA Moscow. That performance did not only allow Baskonia to tie their best-of-five series at 1-1, and end CSKA’s 21-game playoffs winning streak on home floor, but also earned Poirier the MVP honor for Game 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. Edgaras Ulanovas of Zalgiris Kaunas had an index rating of 29 in a thrilling 80-82 road win over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, starring with a game-high 20 points on 9-of-10 two-point shooting, plus 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
