Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs Game 2 MVP: Vincent Poirier, KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz
 
Already down in the series and facing an opponent that did not lose a home playoffs game in 11 years, Vincent Poirier stepped up in a major way and led KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz to a 68-78 road win over CSKA Moscow. That performance did not only allow Baskonia to tie their best-of-five series at 1-1, and end CSKA’s 21-game playoffs winning streak on home floor, but also earned Poirier the MVP honor for Game 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs. Poirier scored 14 points on perfect 6-for-6 two-point shooting, and pulled down 15 rebounds, tied for the third-most in the playoffs since 2011. He also matched his career-high with 4 steals, along with 2 assists and 1 block, accumulating a performance index rating of 32, Baskonia's best in the playoffs since 2005. Edgaras Ulanovas of Zalgiris Kaunas had an index rating of 29 in a thrilling 80-82 road win over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, starring with a game-high 20 points on 9-of-10 two-point shooting, plus 7 rebounds and 2 assists. The third best PIR belongs to Facundo Campazzo who led Real Madrid to a 78-63 win over Panathinaikos OPAP Athens with 13 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 5 steals in less than 23 minutes on the floor. Fenerbahce’s Luigi Datome had an index rating of 22 after collecting 17 points and 9 rebounds in the loss against Zalgiris. Three players had a PIR of 21 in Game 2: Fenerbahce’s Kostas Sloukas with 15 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds; Baskonia’s Darrun Hilliard with 16 points, 3 rebounds and 5 fouls drawn; and Adam Hanga of FC Barcelona Lassa with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. 

Individual leaders: Facundo Campazzo, Real Madrid, 5 steals 

Ulanovas led all scorers in Game 2 with 20 points. Vasilije Micic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul leads the playoffs averaging 18.0 points per game. With his 15 rebounds, Poirier was the only player with double-digits in rebounding in Game 2. Poirier averages 10.0 rebounds, the most in the playoffs. Campazzo’s 9 assists were the most in Game 2. Campazzo is the playoffs leader in assists with 7.5 after two games. Campazzo also led all players in Game 2 with 5 steals, and he tops the steals charts in the playoffs with 4.0 on average. Thanasis Antetokounmpo of Panathinaikos had 2 blocks, the most of all players in Game 2. Efes center Bryant Dunston is the playoffs shot-blocking leader with 2.0 per game.
