Volvo to supply VIP treatment with new partnership

Important guests at the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four will be whisked around in style after Volvo agreed on a new partnership deal to provide transportation for VIPs throughout the weekend.

A wide range of special activities will be taking place in Vitoria-Gasteiz during European basketball's showpiece occasion, including the tip-off ceremony on Thursday, several One Team sessions, countless fun events at the FanZone, and the annual awards ceremony on Saturday night.

VIPs such as players and Final Four Ambassadors who are supporting these various events will be transported in vehicles supplied by Volvo, which has also made an extra effort to reduce CO2 emissions by providing eco-friendly cars.

Roser Queralto, Euroleague Basketball’s Chief Business Officer, commented: "This partnership shows that a world-renowned and prestigious brand such as Volvo finds exactly the values it stands for in the Final Four. We are proud that we are able to offer our stakeholders such a classy option as Volvo to match their own status at this event."

Jose María Galofré, Volvo Car Spain's CEO, said: "To be the Official Car at the Final Four brings us the possibility to show the core values of our premium brand – such as safety, quality and care for the environment – which match perfectly well with the premium experience that we will all live during these four days in Vitoria-Gasteiz, enjoying the best of European basketball."
