Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season - Round 19 MVP: Johnathan Motley, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul
 
A career night in Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul's 79-71 win against FC Bayern Munich has seen Johnathan Motley take home the MVP of the Round distinction for Round 19 in the 2022-23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season. Motley scored a game-high 22 points and paired that with 17 rebounds, which is not only his personal best but also the most by a Fenerbahce player in more than 15 years. On his way to 22 points, the EuroLeague rookie went 7-of-11 from two-point range and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. His total of 17 rebounds saw 7 come on the offensive end. His second double-double of the campaign helped him to a PIR of 38, the most by a player on a winning team in this round, as he earned his second MVP of the Round honor.

Bonzie Colson of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv had a PIR of 41, the highest in Round 19, but it came in an 88-86 loss at Panathinaikos Athens. Colson amassed 29 points, making 7-of-7 two-pointers and 5-of-6 threes, and grabbed 14 rebounds. The third-best PIR of the round, 32, belongs to AS Monaco guard Mike James. In his team's 92-68 loss at Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, he scored 26 points, having gone 3-of-5 inside the arc, 5-of-8 from three-point territory and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. He also collected 6 rebounds, 2 assists and drew 6 fouls. In fourth spot is Shaquielle McKissic of Olympiacos Piraeus after he had a PIR of 30 in his team's 83-85 victory against Virtus Segafredo Bologna. He finished with 21 points, his season high, while he also logged 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 5 fouls drawn. Rounding out the list of top performers is Vasilije Micic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, as he finished with a PIR of 27 after posting 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in a 75-80 road win at FC Barcelona.


Individual highs: Bonzie Colson, Maccabi, 29 points

Colson led all scorers in Round 19 with 29 points. Panathinaikos guard Dwayne Bacon is the leading scorer in the EuroLeague with 21.2 points per game. Motley, the MVP, led all players in this round with 17 rebounds. Mathias Lessort of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade tops all rebounders this season with 7.6 per game. Stefan Markovic of Zvezda had the most assists in Round 19 with 8. Olympiacos guard Kostas Sloukas tops the charts this season, averaging 6.8 assists per contest. Corey Walden of FC Bayern Munich had 4 steals, more than any other player this round. Olympiacos guard Thomas Walkup is the 2022-23 steals leader with 2.1 per game. Walter Tavares of Real Madrid was the top shot blocker with 4 in Round 19. Tavares increased his season-best average to 2.8 blocks, the highest of any player this season. In addition to Motely and Colson, Olympiacos forward Sasha Vezenkov also had a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
