EuroCup Board to reveal 2020-21 teams on Monday

After the cancellation of the 2019-20 Euroleague Basketball competitions due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the 2020-21 season preparations continue, and on Monday, June 15 the EuroCup Board will meet remotely to, among other topics, define the list of the 24 participating teams for the 2020-21 7DAYS EuroCup. The list will be submitted to the ECA Shareholders Meeting for formal approval.

Following the opening of the pre-registration process on May 7, 32 teams from 16 countries have applied to obtain a spot to participate in Euroleague Basketball's second-tier competition.

Due to the season cancellation, eight teams have priority after the ECA Shareholders Executive Board approved last May 25 to reserve guaranteed spots for the eight teams that qualified for the 2019-20 EuroCup Quarterfinals.
