With his team facing a must-win situation in a playoff race that is going down to the wire, Darius Thompson anchored Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's record-setting 120-100 win over LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, earning the second MVP of the Round honor of his rookie Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season. Thompson scored 23 points, going 7-for-11 on two-pointers and 1-of-3 on threes, while he also dished 12 assists. He added 4 rebounds and 3 steals for a round-high PIR of 36.
