Turkish Airlines EuroLeague RS - Round 33 MVP: Darius Thompson, Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz  
 
With his team facing a must-win situation in a playoff race that is going down to the wire, Darius Thompson anchored Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's record-setting 120-100 win over LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, earning the second MVP of the Round honor of his rookie Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season. Thompson scored 23 points, going 7-for-11 on two-pointers and 1-of-3 on threes, while he also dished 12 assists. He added 4 rebounds and 3 steals for a round-high PIR of 36. In addition, Thompson became the first player since 2020-21 to have six double-doubles for points and assists.

Facundo Campazzo of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade had this round's second-best PIR, 33, in an 87-79 win over league leader Olympiacos Piraeus. Campazzo was everywhere with 20 points, 8 assists, a career-high 5 steals and 3 rebounds. Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul forward Nigel Hayes-Davis had a PIR of 32 in a 103-86 win over cross-town rival and outgoing champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Playing all 40 minutes, Hayes-Davis scored a career-high 26 points and had 4 rebounds and 4 assists. ASVEL's Jonah Mathews had a 29 PIR after scoring 25 points, in addition to recording 2 assists, 2 rebounds and 7 fouls drawn in a loss against Baskonia. Rounding out the list of Round 33's best performers is Sami Ojeleye of Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Ojeleye had 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists for a 28 PIR in his team's 79-68 loss against Valencia Basket.


Individual highs: Facundo Campazzo, Zvezda, 5 steals     

Nigel Hayes-Davis of Fenerbahce led all scorers in Round 33 with 26 points. Olympiacos star Sasha Vezenkov is league's scoring leader with 17.5 points per game. Georgios Papagiannis of Panathinaikos Athens and Mathias Lessort of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade led all players by pulling down 9 rebounds apiece in Round 33. Lessort also leads the league in this statistic, averaging 7.2 boards per night. Baskonia's Darius Thompson dished 12 assists, the most of any player in this round. He remains league leader for assists with 6.7 dimes per contest. Facundo Campazzo of Zvezda tied his career-best mark with 5 steals in Round 33. Olympiacos guard Thomas Walkup averages 1.9 steals, the most this season. Walter Tavares of Real Madrid and Josh Nebo of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv had 3 blocks apiece in this round. Tavares is the league's top shot blocker with 2.3 blocks per game. Thompson (23 points, 12 assists) and Wade Baldwin of Maccabi (12 points, 10 assists) registered double-doubles in Round 33.
