The 7DAYS EuroCup Eighthfinals have come to a close and eight teams have advanced to the quarterfinals next week. Cowan's performance included 20 points based on making 5 of 5 three-pointers, which tied an eighthfinals record for perfect shooting from the arc. His 6 rebounds set a personal high and his 10 assists tied another. He also had 2 steals and drew 5 fouls.
Erick Green of Buducnost VOLI Podgorica followed with a PIR of 30 in his team's 92-83 road loss to ratiopharm Ulm. Green scored 29 points in 31 minutes and dished 3 assists. Third in line was Arnoldas Kulboka, who was also instrumental in Promitheas's victory thanks to his 20 points and 5 rebounds for a PIR of 26. Onrdej Balvin of Prometey Slobozhanske and Tyrique Jones of Turk Telekom Ankara were the main factor in their respective teams advancing to the quarterfinals with PIRs of 25 each.
