Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season - Round 6 MVP: Tornike Shengelia, Virtus Segafredo Bologna
 
An outstanding individual performance in a come-from-behind winning effort allowed Toko Shengelia of Virtus Segafredo Bologna to earn Round 6 MVP honors with a PIR of 30.

Shengelia led Virtus to a hard-fought 93-81 home victory over Anadolu Efes Istanbul with 19 points on 5-of-9 two-pointers and 10-of-11 free throws. He added 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 12 fouls drawn, this season's highest total yet, for a PIR of 30. Shengelia was also the Round 3 and October MVP last month. He was chosen as the MVP of the Round for the eighth team in his career, tying Ioannis Bourousis, Luka Doncic and Vassilis Spanoulis for eighth place all time. Nando De Colo has earned MVP of the Round honors a record 16 times.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot paced LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne to an 88-91 comeback win on the road against Zalgliris Kaunas on Thursday night, with his career-high 26 PIR being the second-highest tally in this round. Luwawu-Cabarrot put together a personal 9-2 closing run which assured ASVEL's first victory of the season, as he finished with a career-best 19 points. He made 4-of-7 two-point shots, 1-of-2 threes and 8-of-8 free throws while pulling down a team-high 6 rebounds and picking up a personal-best 3 steals. Semi Ojeleye of Valencia Basket had a PIR 25 in his team's 79-71 win over ALBA Berlin. He had 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. ALBA's Sterling Brown and Olympiacos Piraeus forward Alec Peters each had a PIR of 23, completing Round 6's best performers. Brown collected 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, while Peters had 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in a loss against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.


Individual highs: Milos Teodosic, Crvena Zvezda, 11 assists

Mike James of AS Monaco and Tomas Dimsa of Zalgiris Kaunas led all players in scoring with 21 points apiece in Round 6. EA7 Emporio Armani Milan's Nikola Mirotic is the competition's top scorer at 20.5 points per night.

Mirotic and FC Bayern Munich's Devin Booker each had 9 rebounds, the most in Round 6. Tadas Sedekerskis of Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz leads the overall standings with 8.7 boards per game.

Milos Teodosic of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade led all players in Round 6 with 11 assists. Lorenzo Brown of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv ranks first overall with 8.8 assists per contest.

Two players had 4 steals this round: Chima Moneke of Baskonia and Ognjen Dobric of Virtus Segafredo Bologna. Chris Jones of Valencia Basket, Paris Lee of LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, Shabazz Napier of Zvezda and Gabriele Procida of ALBA Berlin tie for first place overall, each with 1.8 steals per game.

Tristan Vukcevic of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade had a round-high 3 blocks in his team's road loss against Baskonia. Serge Ibaka of FC Bayern Munich is the competition's leading shot blocker at 1.8 per game.
