Turkish Airlines EuroLeague RS - Round 15 MVP: Johnny O'Bryant, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv
 
With his team badly needing a win to end the first half of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv big man Johnny O'Bryant came up with a masterful performance in a thrilling 94-92 win over visiting AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, earning his first MVP of the Round honor. The first year forward accumulated a performance index rating 44 by scoring 32 points, making 5-for-8 two-point shots, and sinking 5-of-7 three-pointers. He also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 10 drawn fouls. His 44 PIR was the league's highest in more than three years, and the third-highest by a Maccabi player in its 408 EuroLeague games this century. O’Bryant’s 32 points was more than any Maccabi player has scored since 2007, and no EuroLeague forward or center had scored as much since 2015. CSKA Moscow forward Will Clyburn accumulated a PIR of 33, the second highest of the round. In a road loss against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Clyburn collected 24 points and 10 rebounds, along with 2 assists, 1 block and 9 drawn fouls. In his EuroLeague return, Buducnost Voli Podgorica point guard Norris Cole had a career-high index rating 30, netting a personal-best 27 points and dishing 6 assists. Toney Douglas of Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul also had a PIR of 30 in a 79-75 win over Olympiacos Piraeus. Douglas had 19 points, 9 assists, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, 1 block and 6 drawn fouls. Rounding out the list of top performers in Round 15 are Jordan Mickey of Khimki Moscow Region and Xavi Rabaseda of Herbalife Gran Canaria, both with an index rating of 27. Mickey had 19 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in a loss against KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, while Rabaseda had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in victory over Zalgiris Kaunas.

Individual leaders: Toney Douglas, Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul, 5 steals

O’Bryant was the top scorer this round with 32 points. Khimki’s Alexey Shved remains league’s scoring leader with 25.3 points per game. Clyburn and Jeremy Evans of Darussafaka each had 10 rebounds to lead all rebounders in Round 15. Nikola Milutinov of Olympiacos is the new EuroLeague leader in rebounding with 7.7 per game. Nick Calathes of Panathinaikos and Marcelinho Huertas of Baskonia each had 10 assists to lead all players this week. Calathes increased his lead atop the assists charts for this season with 8.1 on average. Douglas had 5 steals, the most of any player in this round. Shved remains the league leader in this category with 1.8 steals per contest. Buducnost center Goga Bitadze had a memorable EuroLeague debut, registering 4 blocks, the most of all players in Round 15. Real Madrid center Walter Tavares is the league’s shot-block leader with 1.9 per game. There were two double-doubles in Round 15, with Clyburn collecting 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Calathes posting 14 points and 10 assists.
