BKT EuroCup Regular Season - Round 4 MVP: Anthony Cowan Jr., Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius
 
Anthony Cowan Jr. had an integral role in Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius recording its first win of the 2024-25 BKT EuroCup season, finishing with the highest PIR of any player on a winning team in Round 3 and thus earning himself MVP of the Round honors.

In a 63-86 road triumph over Joventut Badalona, Cowan accumulated a PIR of 33. The Wolves guard scored 26 points, going 2 for 2 on two-pointers, 4 for 6 on three-pointers and 10 for 10 on free throws. He also had 4 assists, 3 rebounds and drew 9 fouls. This is Cowan's fourth MVP of the Round honor, having secured this honor three times in the 2022-23 season.

The highest PIR in Round 4 belongs to Jaroslaw Zyskowski of Trefl Sopot, who had a 37 PIR, yet it came in a 92-83 loss at Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. Zyskowski netted 33 points, making 4-of-4 two-pointers, 5-of-6 threes and 10-of-12 free throws, while also pulling own 4 rebounds and drawing 7 fouls. Umana Reyer Venice duo Kyle Wiltjer and Mfiondu Kabengele both had a 32 PIR in their team’s 105-83 defeat at Valencia Basket on Thursday night. Wiltjer erupted for a career-best 34 points, as well as posting 4 rebounds and 1 assist, while Kabengele had 15 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Rounding out the list of top performers are Zavier Simpson of U-BT Cluj Napoca and David DeJulius of Aris Midea Thessaloniki, with both players having a PIR of 31. Simpson had 28 points along with 8 assists and 2 steals as Cluj thrashed Veolia Towers Hamburg 67-103, while DeJulius scored 30 points on 10-of-14 two-point shooting, in addition to amassing 2 assists and 7 drawn fouls in Aris's 68-78 loss against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem.

Individual highs: Kyle Wiltjer, Umana Reyer Venice, 34 points

Kyle Wiltjer of Reyer led all scorers in Round 4 with 34 points. Jerusalem’s Jared Harper is the leading scorer in this season’s EuroCup at 20.8 points per game.

Marko Pecarski of 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys and Reyer’s Mfiondu Kabengele pulled down 11 rebounds each, the most in Round 4. Kabengele tops the charts in rebounds, pulling down 12.0 boards per night.

Jared Harper of Jerusalem dished 15 assists in this round, more than any other player in a single game this season. Cluj’s Zavier Simpson is averaging a competition-high 7.5 assists per night.

Patrick Beverley of Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv led all players in Round 4 with 5 steals. Beverley and Jerusalem’s Yovel Zoosman are tied for first place in steals with 2.5 per contest.

Two players had 3 blocks this round: Kerem Konan of Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul and Jean-Marc Pansa of Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse. Pansa is first in blocks this season with 2.3 rejections per game.

There were three double-doubles in Round 4: Kabengele (15 points, 11 rebounds) Harper (14 points, 15 assists), and Pecarski (12 points, 11 rebounds).
