This year, local hero Alessandro della Giusta, from Team Bologna, will be leading his squad into the tournament, with the ultimate goal of clinching victory right in their hometown. Alessandro shared his excitement about the challenge: “"Representing your own nation is always a unique and special experience. Bologna is a city in Italy famous for its passion for basketball, and it’s a true pleasure to be part of this reality. Additionally, I have friends who have played in Serie A, and I hope to show them, with my dedication, how determined and strong I am."
