MEDIA INVITATION - “Bouncing for Good” continues its journey in Bologna

Euroleague Basketball, Motorola, and Virtus Bologna bring their One Team initiative to Castel San Pietro Terme

Euroleague Basketball would like to invite you to 'Bouncing for Good', the community initiative co-developed by Euroleague Basketball’s One Team program and Motorola, which continues its European tour with a new stop in Bologna.

Co-organized with Virtus Bologna, the initiative will take place at Scuola Primaria Luciana Sassatelli, an elementary school located in Castel San Pietro Terme, near Bologna, which has collaborated with the italian team for several years through physical education and basketball programs. The school reflects the growing multicultural character of the local community, welcoming children from diverse social and cultural backgrounds while promoting inclusion and equal opportunities through education and sport.

A total of 58 students aged 9 to 10 will participate in the initiative, which combines educational activities with a basketball donation aimed at promoting teamwork, respect, and social integration. The donation event will be supported by One Team Ambassadors Daniel Hackett and Saliou Niang, who will join the children on court, take part in all the activities and be able to attend the media for 15 minutes at the end of it.

The project highlights the role of schools and sports clubs in fostering integration, particularly in communities experiencing demographic and social change, where education and sport play a key role in bringing families together.
