Filmmaster Events to light up the 2019 Final Four |
|
The 2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four will feature stars from beyond the basketball court, too, as the entertainment experts at Filmmaster Events bring their singular showmanship to Fernando Buesa Arena and a worldwide broadcast audience during the weekend of May 17 to 19 in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
Filmmaster, one of the few operators in the world accredited to create and produce Olympic ceremonies, will curate the arena shows at the sold-out Final Four, taking fans from the pre-game moments of Friday's semifinals to the brink of the championship game on Sunday.
Paying tribute to basketball champions of the past while also showcasing this season's four finalists – Anadolu EFES Istanbul, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Real Madrid – Filmmaster has created a complex and thrilling four-dimensional show for game nights. With an elaborate and flexible technical set-up, Fernando Buesa Arena will be transformed into a European basketball temple in which fans can enjoy a series of unique, interactive moments.
The ceremonies, featuring performers and dancers, will be dedicated to the pillars of the Final Four: the fans, veritable protagonists of the event; the teams, whose extraordinary efforts brought them to this moment; the action, with a sequence of the season's most memorable athletic achievements; and glory, with thrilling images from previous editions and the unveiling of the 2019 trophy.
Fernando Buesa Arena will come to life in a triumph of sounds and color, with the audience as a participant in the show, interacting with the spectacle of lights.
"We will play a part in bringing to life an event which has become a new benchmark for basketball," Andrea Varnier, CEO, Filmmaster Events explains. "We have enthusiastically embraced the challenge of creating a thrilling and captivating show, concentrated into sequences lasting a few minutes each. It was a pleasure to work with Euroleague Basketball, a partner determined to continuously raise the qualitative level of the Final Four."
