 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague RS - Round 29 MVP: Maodo Lo, ALBA Berlin
 
Maodo Lo was near-unstoppable in leading ALBA Berlin to a resounding 90-75 win over Olympiacos Piraeus on Thursday night, and in the process he picked up the first MVP of the Round award of his career. Lo scored a career-high 27 points, making 5-of-6 two-pointers and 5-of-6 three-pointers. He tied his season-high with 7 assists, and also pulled down 5 rebounds and had 1 steal. His career-high performance index rating of 34 topped all players in Round 29. Edgaras Ulanovas of Zalgiris Kaunas had a career-high 33 PIR in a come-from-behind 91-84 win over FC Barcelona. The Zalgiris forward collected 16 points, 9 rebounds, a career-high 6 steals and 2 blocks. The next best PIR, 32, belonged to AS Monaco guard Mike James who compiled 27 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 1 steal in a win over Anadolu Efes Istanbul. His teammate Alpha Diallo and Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv guard James Nunnally had PIR 31 to round out the list of Round 29’s top performers. Diallo finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks, while Nunnally had 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in a loss against Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade.

Lo and James led all players with 27 points apiece in this round. Efes guard Vasilije Micic is the EuroLeague top scorer with 17.2 points per game. Four players had 9 rebounds in Round 29: Ulanovas, Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos, Simone Fontecchio of Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and Walter Tavares of Real Madrid. Tavares also took over the league lead with 7.8 rebounds per game. Kostas Sloukas of Olympiacos had 10 assists, the only player with double-digits in this category this week. Lorenzo Brown of UNICS Kazan is the leader in assists with 6.1 on average. Ulanovas had a career-high 6 steals, also more than any other player in Round 29. John Brown of UNICS leads the league with 2.8 steals per game. Real's Vincent Poirier and Baskonia's Matt Costello led all players with 3 blocks this round.
