Cisco, Euroleague Basketball to give Final Four fans unrivaled connectivity |
|
A partnership between Euroleague Basketball and Cisco – the worldwide leader in IT, networking and cybersecurity solutions – will give fans at the 2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain this weekend an innovative wireless connectivity experience that is second to none.
Fans at Fernando Buesa Arena for the Final Four will enjoy access to a powerful wireless network at no cost, allowing them to connect to the Internet and instantly follow all the content on offer from Euroleague Basketball and its partner. At the same time, the free connection will let fans upload and share their own greatest moments from an event that generates non-stop emotions for everyone from center court to the top row of the stands.
Having Cisco at its side during the biggest basketball event of the year in Europe allows Euroleague Basketball to continue its tradition of putting the best in technology at the service of the fans.
With free wifi on a powerful scale, almost 16,000 fans at Fernando Buesa Arena will have such services as the FanGuide and the EuroLeague Mobile App, as well as practical tools like the Vitoria-Gasteiz transportation, at their fingertips during all the games.
Thanks to Cisco, Euroleague Basketball and its partners will be empowered to connect with the fans in order to give them the most complete digital experience possible of the event -- even as they root for their teams at the games.
"With Cisco's invaluable expertise, we are proud to take another step in providing Euroleague Basketball fans with all the means possible to enjoy the Final Four on many levels and not miss any of the digital content surrounding the event," Roser Queralto, Chief Business Officer at Euroleague Basketball, said.
