An outstanding performance in a winning effort has allowed Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos Piraeus to claim Regular Season Round 2 MVP honors. Vezenkov led Olympiacos to a 90-80 home victory against Zalgiris Kaunas on Friday night. He finished the game with 23 points on 6-of-10 shooting from two-point range, 2-of-4 from three and 5-of-6 from the line, while he also added a career-high 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 fouls drawn for a PIR of 37, the highest of any player in Round 2 and so far this season. Vezenkov earned MVP of the Round honors for the fifth time in his EuroLeague career, all of which have come with Olympiacos in the last three seasons.
Mathias Lessort of Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and Will Clyburn of Anadolu Efes Istanbul each had a PIR of 34 in Round 2, but neither player led their teams to a victory. Lessort had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 8 fouls drawn in his team's 103-96 overtime road loss against Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. Clyburn recorded 28 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 fouls drawn in Efes's overtime 95-92 loss against AS Monaco. Zach Leday, also of Partizan, (32 PIR) and Markus Howard of Baskonia (27) complete the top individual performances in Round 2.

Baskonia's Howard led all scorers by finishing with 33 points. Clyburn is the competition's leading scorer with 23.5 points per game. Vezenkov's 14 rebounds led all player in Round 2. He also leads the overall standings with 11.0 boards per night. Nick Calathes of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Tamir Blatt of ALBA Berlin each dished out 9 assists in Round 2. Darius Thompson of Baskonia is the EuroLeague's assists leader at 9.0 per night. Devon Hall of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan collected 5 steals in his team's home loss against ALBA. Hall and Thomas Walkup of Olympiacos are tied for first place overall with 3.0 steals per game. Five players – Daulton Hommes of Baskonia, Chris Koumadje of ALBA, Youssoupha Fall of LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, Mam Jaiteh of Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Donta Hall of Monaco and Elijah Bryant of Efes – each had 2 blocks in this round. None of them lead the overall standings, as Bonzie Colson of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Walter Tavares of Real Madrid are tied for first place with 2.5 blocks per night. Vezenkov, Fall and Partizan duo Mathias Lessort and Zach LeDay each recorded a double-double in Round 2.
