· This is the first meeting between Panathinaikos and ASVEL since 2001. The Greens lead the series 3-1, although ASVEL won their first game ever, in Athens.
· ASVEL's David Lighty and Panathinaikos forward DeShaun Thomas were teammates at JSF Nanterre during the 2013-14 season.
