- The first game between French League teams in the EuroLeague this century was in November 2021 in Monaco and saw ASVEL win 84-85 on a buzzer-beating half-court shot by William Howard.
- Monaco has won all four games against ASVEL since that first one, including an 80-70 victory in Round 7 when Alpha Diallo made a career-high 6 three-pointers.
- Elie Okobo and Mathew Strazel joined Monaco from ASVEL in the summer of 2022. Okobo played there for the 2021-22 season and Strazel spent three seasons there.
